A wonderful way to begin or end your day would be great shower that can give the fabulous 3 "R" feel i.e. : Relax, Rejuvenate and Refresh. But what kind of shower would that be? A question frequently asked by many. Be it for the humble middle class or the filthy rich, showers come in many attitudes like traditional, electric, high pressured, remote controlled, digitally controlled, LED color changeable and walk-ins.

Here's a brief description :

The traditional ranges of showers are the kinds most of us have grown up with. Those humble turn handle showers where one had to adjust the required warmth from both the levers. There used to be either a 6” or an 8” rose which used to supply very limited flow.

Electric showers have evolved through time like us humans. The need for a faster paced – literally everything. Hence, the inventors came up with these masterpieces. These electric showers come in multiple ranges and features ranging from automatic shutdown when the temperature rises above 40 °C. Some have temperature controls that can be set at 40°C, 43°C, 46°C or 48°C respectively. Some come with “Set and leave” control. Wow! The list keeps getting longer.

High pressure can be created through a number of ways, and it is the force at which water is pushed released from the shower. Solely related to the disbursement method of the water. Let’s say a shower head contains 20 rather large holes designed to disperse the water, it would emit a very low pressure flow. On the other hand, if the same 20 holes on the shower head were reduced in size, the force needed to push the water through the smaller openings would, in turn, increase the pressure it would be dispersed with.

Remote controlled for the less abled uses a wireless remote control unit to set the temperature and water flow. Settings can even be pre-programmed into the unit. This would allow users to set the controls with dry, soap free hands prior to entering the shower. Presets would allow caregivers or spouses to program the controls for those not able to handle the controls themselves. The system requires a mixing and control box embedded in the wall.

Digitally controlled temperature and flow settings, have many different presets so that one can get exactly what one wants each time without having to fiddle with knobs which seems like real benefits.

LED color changing shower head with HOT, WARM, COLD water detection colors. This lighted shower head changes color with the temperature of the water, ensuring you know by sight exactly what to expect before you jump in. It even flashes red if the water is too hot (above 46°C) so you do not burn yourself! So who needs an LED shower head with a remote control? The answer is “Everyone”! Why shower under one color when you can have a constant color show? Have the lights randomly fade from one color to another or even quickly jumpshow between colors. Of course, you can always just leave it in its standard operating mode as an RGB temperature detecting shower head, the choice is yours!!

Nowadays walk-in showers are becoming a rage. It gives extra showering space, and you don’t have to move any parts. You can give your bathroom a modern edge installing this futuristic luxury fixture. It can be purchased directly or get it tailor-made according to choice.
